5 Signs Your Baby May Have an Ear Infection
Ear infection
These are horrible and usually if your baby gets one of these they will probably get lots of these. My suggestion if they have more than two in a few months you may want to consider getting tubes. My daughter suffered with ear infections for the first year of life and we finally got tubes when she was almost two. The procedure took 15 minutes and she was a little uncomfortable for a day but she slept through the night for the first time within a week of this procedure. We didn’t wait a long with our son, he got tubes by the time he turned 6 months and it made everyone much happier.
Your baby may have an ear infection if:
- Baby is cranky every time you lay them down. This is because the fluid puts pressure on their inner ear and is very painful.
- Baby is running a fever.
- Baby is pulling on their ears.
- Baby doesn’t want to drink or breastfeed
- Mothers intuition - You know your baby better than anyone. If you feel your baby isn’t feel well call the doctor.
