Great Deal on Diapers

Diapers.com_Free Shipping_ (100x100) Animated I hate buying diapers!  Not because they are so expensive (even though that bugs me) and not because I know buying diapers means I have to change diapers BUT because if I have to buy diapers it means I have to go to Costco.  Costco is fine if you have the time and energy to spare but it can be a real pain. Parking is usually a problem, it’s always completely crowed AND I’m usually carting around 3 kids under the age of 5.
In order to avoid the trip to Costco I decide to try out Diapers.com which was a life changing moment.  They actually ship the diapers to your house FOR FREE, they are cheaper than going to pretty much anywhere and you can setup a reoccurring order so that you don’t have a “oh crap we’re out of diapers” moment.
Here is what I did:  I placed an order for an extra large pack of LUV’s size 1  for $35.99 or $.14 per diaper AND extra large pack of LUV’s size 4 for $35.99 or $.20 per.  I have a coupon code “PUMPKINS” which gave me $10 off and free shipping. So for 444 diapers I paid $.14 a piece plus I saved money on gas AND most importantly my sanity.
The “PUMPKINS” code is good through 4/30/09 so check out Diapers.com

FREE DVD Rentals

Last week I was reading a great article from wisebread.com regarding how you can get free DVD rentals from RedBox. I am highly skeptical of anything that is “free” but I also like a good deal so I don’t mind being a guinea pig for you all. I went out to http://www.redbox.com/Help/Signup.aspx and signed up which consisted of just giving my email address (no biggie). A few minutes later an email popped up in my inbox with a free rental code from RedBox. I sent my husband and daughter to the RedBox machine with code in hand and guess what? It worked! This code entitles you to a free DVD rental for one night. You still have to swipe your credit card in case you keep the DVD more than one night but it’s still a great deal. Even better, the code can be used multiple times if you use different cards. Man, I love a great deal!

RedBox actually distributes these codes weekly if you sign up for SMS or email messaging, at http://www.redbox.com/Help/Signup.aspx . You get a free rental code each Monday which you can use for one night’s free rental. WiseBread also posts links for code sharing websites.
